California Performing Arts offers acting for stage and film, improv, auditioning, movement, voice, theatre, musical theatre, and dance. The program includes youth musical theatre workshops with two performances, a 2026 Musical Theatre Summer Camp, after-school programs, summer intensives, workshops, masterclasses, private Zoom lessons, group classes, industry clinics, a Youth Talent Search, and demo classes.

California Performing Arts has been serving the Antelope Valley for three decades. Classes and workshops are designed by Founder and Artistic Director Mitra Licciardi, who has over 30 years of experience in teaching, directing, and performing. Programs are taught by professionals who have yearly background checks, and staff are described as some of the best and most professional talent in the AV with yearly background checks. The curriculum covers current acting techniques and draws on the ideas and practices of Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Chekhov, and Stanislavsky. The program offers an immersive performing arts experience with shows that feature sets, costumes, and lighting, and are described as both entertaining and thought-provoking. California Performing Arts has partnered with Imagination Upgraded Studios and notes community support through donations to local arts programs and thanks supporters of local arts. The program also highlights events such as celebrating Juneteenth with demo classes all day and offers enrollment consultation by phone to find the right class and location.
