About
Kids Ministry offers Sunday School for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, with kids starting in the Sanctuary with their family before being dismissed after Children’s Time for a Bible lesson. It also offers a nursery for infants through 4 year olds with loving care, music, and a Bible story for Toddlers and Pre-K ages. Other offerings include Messy Church, Cub Scouts for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade, camps and retreats, Summer Kingdom Quest Unit, and Youth Group for 6th through 12th grade.
Programs
- Sunday School for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade — Kindergarten through 5th grade · Sunday mornings at 11am · Kids start in the Sanctuary with their family. After Children's Time, they are dismissed to their classes for a fun and engaging Bible lesson.
- Nursery for infants through 4 year olds — Infants through 4 year olds · Before service · Loving care, music, and a Bible story geared for Toddlers and Pre-K ages.
- Summer Kingdom Quest Unit — June and July
- Messy Church — Generally every month when no other family experience is planned · Casual intergenerational worship event with games, crafts, music, an interactive Bible message, and a meal; non-denominational worship event hosted by PUMC.
- Cub Scouts for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade — Kindergarten through 5th grade · For boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Camps and retreats — Summer and winter · Available summer and winter.
- Youth Group — 6th grade through 12th grade · Each month · A time to play, pray, and grow together in faith.

About the provider
Kids are involved in outreach projects that impact local and faraway communities, including making Thanksgiving goodie bags for kids at the shelter, collecting shoes through Soles4Souls, and raising money for Heifer International. Parents are partners in their child’s faith formation, and the registration form can be printed and brought in or emailed to [email protected].
