BrainVyne Camps

BrainVyne Camps offers Simple Machines for ages 4-6, plus LEGO® Technic Camps, LEGO® Animal Robotics, Stop Motion Animation, and Girl Power STEM Robotics for ages 6-12. It also offers Money 101 for ages 10-15, along with LEGO® Technic Adventures, LEGO® Star Wars, and LEGO® Pokemania.

• Stop Motion Animation — 6-12 · Kids learn to storyboard, build LEGO sets with minifigures, and make their own movie with sound effects, editing, and more.
• Girl Power STEM Robotics — 6-12 · Girls learn the basics of coding through play with WeDo robotics kits and a proprietary curriculum.
• Money 101 — 10-15 · Financial literacy program for 5th - 9th graders and teens.
• LEGO® Technic Adventures — Advanced program for knowledgeable LEGO® enthusiasts to create complex technical machines using gears, axles, motors, and battery packs.
• LEGO® Star Wars — Students create battery-powered LEGO® creations based on real-world STEAM education coupled with the fantasy world of Star Wars.
• LEGO® Pokemania — Students create battery-powered LEGO® creations and build a working Pokéball using a custom design.

About the provider

BrainVyne Camps was founded in 2013 by Rathna Ramakrishnan. The programs are led by California-credentialed teachers and California-licensed teachers. The mission states that BrainVyne is an inclusive program and that children learn through play, with programs focused on STEAM-based education or financial literacy. The financial literacy curriculum is endorsed by the National Financial Educators Council and meets California Department of Education standards and JumpStart National Standards.
