Dance Connection Summer Camps

Dance Connection Summer Camps offers full and half-day camps where campers take daily dance classes in styles such as K-Pop, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, ballet dances, jazz dances, and various styles of Jazz Dance. Camps also include Acrobatics, special acrobatic tricks, arts & crafts projects, Frozen-themed arts & crafts, magical arts & crafts, creative projects, hands-on themed crafts, dress-up, and work on technique, choreography, and style exploration. Each camp week includes a Friday Showcase to share what campers have learned with family.

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: One-week sessions on dates such as 6/8–6/12, 6/15–6/19, 6/22–6/26, 7/6–7/10, 7/13–7/17, 7/20–7/24, 7/27–7/31, and 8/3–8/7, with options like 9:00am–12:00pm and 9:00am–3:00pm and daily dance classes plus a Friday Showcase
• Price: $375–$640 per camp session

Dance Connection Summer Camps lists small group camps, a camp T-shirt included, and before care or before and after care available for some camps. The program is part of a larger organization that also offers elite competitive teams, a pre-professional ballet program, Kids & Teen Dance classes, and Adult Dance Classes. The mission statement for Dance Connection is “Training exceptional dancers. Developing exceptional people. Cultivating real connections.”

The leadership team includes Director Corie Tyson, Founding Director Cindy Ginanni, Performing Company Artistic Director Nikki Tavares, Ballet Company Artistic Director Peter Hershey, and Hip Hop Artistic Director Francis Tyrell. Instructor Jennifer received ballet training with the Academy of Ballet, Dancers' Stage, Lanova Academy, City Ballet School, and Boston Ballet School, and has performed with Peninsula Ballet Theater, San Francisco Dance Theater, and the Santa Clara Ballet, as well as in the San Francisco production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's “The Phantom of the Opera” for 4 1/2 years. Jennifer has been teaching at Dance Connection since 2001.
