Exploration AfterSchool & Exploration Camp

Exploration AfterSchool & Exploration Camp includes self-directed, imagination-led free play. The listed activities include arts and crafts, music, chemistry, experimentation, slime, bubbles, outdoor slack line, outdoor games, STEM, science, design challenges, and cooking. Exploration AfterSchool meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the school year, and sessions run for 2 hours. Tuesdays are held at Juana Briones Elementary, and Wednesdays and Thursdays are at Barron Park Elementary.

About the provider

The mission is to empower healthy growth and learning through self-directed, imagination-led, purposeful play. The leadership team includes Mary O'Connell, Founder & CEO; Kim Adams; Nancy Isaac; Chris Roat; Etta Lin; and Star Teachout. Need-based scholarships are available. All children are welcome to attend. No sessions are held on school and federal/state holidays, and fees vary by program option, with full semester, monthly, and drop-in options offered.
