Sunshine Preschool

Sunshine Preschool offers a Montessori learning program that follows the Montessori method of learning. The program includes a global, diversified curriculum in which children learn at their own pace and focuses on both social skills, such as friendship and sharing, and an academic curriculum. The Montessori Preschool fosters a nurturing, comfortable and open learning environment.

Sunshine Preschool has offered Montessori instruction since 1989. The staff brings over 30 years of professional experience to the program. The program’s mission states that it is designed to take advantage of the most sensitive years between the ages of two and six, encourages social skills and genial interaction with peers, and focuses on assisting children in developing their fullest potential while allowing the freedom of experiencing the excitement and joy of learning at their own level of interest and readiness. The mission also states that the goal is to create an environment that encourages curiosity and promotes a natural desire to learn, with a global, diversified program that encourages children to advance and learn at their own pace.
