Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo Programs offers hands-on and interactive science programming for children ages 3 to 12. The program includes afterschool programs, summer camps, classroom lessons, field trips, family science programs, and school programs for preschool through 5th grade.

About the provider
The museum opened in July 1934, and the history text says it appears to be the first museum of its kind west of the Mississippi River. It is proudly accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), and its community outreach program serves approximately 184,000 children and their adults.
The educational philosophy supports multiple learning styles, multiple intelligences and special needs.
