Silicon Valley Soccer Academy (SVSA) is a non-profit academy with a mission to engage, empower, and showcase soccer players for advanced college and professional opportunities. SVSA is a 501(c)(3) organization. The program provides mentorship and development for personal growth for all players, including underprivileged at-risk youth. SVSA has 12 teams, more than 220 members, and more than 12 coaches. The program focuses on building athletes’ character through respect, teamwork, discipline, and personal responsibility, and it encourages individual creativity within a team environment. SVSA emphasizes player development through collaboration across teams and serves as a role model for sportsmanship and integrity. The academy prepares select athletes for exposure and positioning into universities across the country. As a 501(c)(3) organization, SVSA depends on contributions from donors and sponsors to keep its soccer programs within reach of families in the community.
