Peninsula School of Performing Arts

Peninsula School of Performing Arts offers Pre-Ballet, Pre-Tap, Hippity Hop, ballet, tap, hip hop, and jazz classes, along with a full ballet program from elementary to professional level. The program includes YAGP competition coaching, Spring Ballet productions, The Nutcracker, PSPA Dance Company teams, the PSPA Competition Team, and a performing and competition team. Peninsula School of Performing Arts also offers tap, ballet, yoga, stretch, and jazz for adults, as well as summer workshops, a Summer Session, Ballet Camps, Jazz Camps, Musical Theatre Camps, and a Musical Theatre Master Class.

Peninsula School of Performing Arts was formed to bring high quality dance to children and adults in the Peninsula and South Bay areas. Beginning with Pre-Ballet, Pre-Tap, and Hippity Hop, children receive a foundation of dance techniques mixed with creative movement and dramatic expression, and all dancers are encouraged to stay in ballet throughout their dance training. Serious ballet students ages 11 and up can be coached for YAGP competition and for leading roles in Spring Ballet productions and The Nutcracker. All dancers attend classes at Peninsula School of Performing Arts and are invited to audition for any of the teams in PSPA Dance Company, including the PSPA Competition Team, which is under the direction of Joanna Burt and founder and director Tita Boulger. The program includes a safe and nurturing environment for young dancers who wish to take their dancing to the next level, and advanced dancers are pushed to their highest levels through coaching and competitions. Peninsula School of Performing Arts also rounds out its dance program with adult tap, ballet, yoga, stretch, jazz, and summer workshops for adults and children.
