Peninsula School of Performing Arts

Peninsula School of Performing Arts offers Pre-Ballet, Pre-Tap, and Hippity Hop, with children given a strong foundation of dance techniques mixed with creative movement and dramatic expression. It also offers ballet, tap, hip hop, and jazz classes, along with a full ballet program and YAGP competition coaching for serious ballet students ages 11 and older.

• Full ballet program — Elementary to professional level · Offered for students who show a talent and love of ballet.
• YAGP competition coaching — Serious ballet students ages 11 and older · Students have the opportunity to be coached for YAGP competition.
• PSPA Dance Company performing and competition team — Open to the students of PSPA; dancers attend classes at PSPA and are invited to audition for any of the teams.
• PSPA Competition Team — Under the direction of Joanna Burt & Tita Boulger.
• Adult tap, ballet, yoga, stretch, and jazz — Adults · Offered for adults.

About the provider

Peninsula School of Performing Arts was formed to bring high quality dance to children and adults in the Peninsula and South Bay areas. Tita Boulger is the founder and director, and Joanna Burt and Tita Boulger direct the PSPA Competition Team.

At age 5, the program expands to include full hour ballet, tap, hip hop & jazz classes. Serious ballet students ages 11 and older have the opportunity to be coached for YAGP competition and the leading roles in Spring Ballet productions and the Nutcracker. Students attend classes at PSPA and are invited to audition for any of the teams in PSPA Dance Company.
