Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley offers youth development programs that include academics, health and wellness, and character and leadership activities. The program operates at multiple club and school-based sites and is staffed by trained youth development professionals.

• Schedule: After-school hours on weekdays, with most sites open from early or mid-afternoon until early evening
• Price: Membership is $100 annually, with scholarships available and no child turned away due to financial need.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley is a private nonprofit founded in 1995 and is governed by a local volunteer board. It employs over 100 youth development professionals and serves over 1,600 youth at 11 sites in Butte and Glenn Counties. The organization’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens. It is audited and endorsed by the Grand Jury as a proven program, is a Platinum participant through GuideStar/Candid, is compliant with the Office of State Assembly, serves as a training site for Boys & Girls Clubs and other after school programs, and is described as a model program for youth development best practices. Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley benefits from the support of more than 500 community volunteers and works with partners described as creating safer communities and brighter futures for every child.

The leadership team includes Chief Executive Officer Rashell Brobst and Chief Operations Officer Joe Hejl.
