About

Summer Programs includes a computer camp with coding, game development, and robotics classes. It also includes a summer research program for teachers and students attending Pasadena Unified School District high schools. One three-week program integrates social and academic components from the arts and applied sciences.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Three-week program

The program is connected to the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO), whose mission is to support Caltech's multifaceted educational efforts, including undergraduate and graduate courses and curricula, formal and informal teaching and learning, and partnerships with PreK–12 teachers and students. The CTLO states a commitment to advancing evidence-based, inclusive practices through its programs and services, and to fostering innovation based on this foundation. The program is part of community involvement that includes partnerships with PreK–12 teachers and students. The leadership team notes that families can contact Jasmine Bryant or Leslie Rico for additional assistance or information, and contact Kitty Cahalan to find out how to become part of an outreach effort.
