Winner’s Edge – Karate is an ongoing children’s martial arts program that focuses on martial arts and self-protection. The program includes activities that help children grow mentally and physically. It also offers a way for children to make new friends while learning karate skills.

Center for Developing Kids opened on April 1, 1995, and Winner’s Edge – Karate is offered through this organization. The therapists at Center for Developing Kids have advanced training in pediatrics, and the team includes occupational therapists with advanced practice certification in Feeding, Eating, and Swallowing. Center for Developing Kids was created with a vision of providing quality pediatric therapy services in an environment where children would thrive and families could meet and support each other in their common experiences. The organization has academic associations with universities in the United States and Canada that allow interns to complete fieldwork requirements, and it supports and participates in research studies that promote advancement of knowledge in pediatric therapy service provision.
