MB Golf Academy offers private golf instruction, group golf instruction, and junior golf instruction. The program also includes a monthly golf clinic program and the Golf Talk Radio with Mike & Billy Program. Each golf lesson includes a follow-up email summary, swing videos, and pictures of what was covered during the session, and all skill levels are welcome.

MB Golf Academy states that it identifies the goals of each student from the beginning and develops a game plan to help achieve them, focusing on each golfer's build, flexibility, and past athletic experience to create a solid foundation for their swing. The academy is led by Mike Brabenec, a PGA Professional and Director of Golf at Paso Robles Golf Club, who created the Avila Beach Golf Academy, co-created the Golf Talk Radio with Mike & Billy Program, and is a Certified First Tee Coach. Staff credentials listed for the program include B.S. in Recreation Administration, PGA Head Professional, PGA Club Professional status, PGA Professional, Director of Golf, Certified First Tee Coach, PGA Apprentice, and PGA Member.
In June of 2000, Billy and Mike created the Golf Talk Radio with Mike & Billy Program, which aired live for 20 years on ESPN Radio in San Luis Obispo, California, and Bakersfield, California. In January 2012, Mike started the certification process for the First Tee Junior Golf & Life Skill program and became a Certified First Tee Coach in the spring of 2015. In December 2012, Mike accepted the Director of Golf position at the Paso Robles Golf Club, and during the past 10 years there he has grown as a PGA Professional, golf instructor, and club fitter.
MB Golf Academy is involved with the First Tee Junior Golf & Life Skill program and runs the Golf C.A.R.E. Program, a monthly golf clinic program that has offered over 75 clinics a month to over 150 members. The program also offers Golf Lesson eGift Cards.
