Octobots Football Academy offers structured soccer training that includes practice and scrimmage on the same day, with small-group instruction and game-based learning. The program runs specific offerings such as the Octobots Spring Soccer League 2026, the Octobots Juniors program, the Octobots Roots program, and an MLS GO League membership, and is coed and open to players of all skill levels. Within each division, players are grouped into Basic and Advanced levels, and families have the option to create their own team with friends or siblings.

Octobots Spring Soccer League 2026 runs for seven Sundays on April 12, April 19, April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17, and May 24, with Roots (ages 4–7) from 12:30–2:00 PM, Juniors (ages 7–10) from 1:30–3:30 PM, and Seniors (ages 10–13) from 2:30–4:30 PM. The Octobots Juniors program is a 6-week Sunday program from 10:15 AM–12:00 PM on March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27, and May 11. The Octobots Roots program is also a 6-week Sunday program from 10:15–12:00 on March 30 and April 6, with additional weeks listed as part of the same 6-week schedule. The MLS GO League membership is an 8-week Sunday league on Sunday afternoons, beginning August 24, 2025, with sessions on August 24, September 7, 14, 21, 28, and October 5, 12, and 19, 2025, and includes an exclusive welcome event for members on Saturday, August 10.
The program uses structured soccer training, differential learning, and games, with 100% decision-making practices and differential learning, and includes plenty of playtime and game-based learning. Training is based on Paco Seirul·lo’s Structural Training, a scientific and holistic model that views soccer as an interconnection of different human structures, with a focus on five key structures: cognitive, coordinative, socio-affective, creative-expressive, and conditional, and is based on neuroscience and holistic training principles. The program blends professional coaching, fun competition, and this holistic player-development approach, and offers a safe, inclusive, and positive environment, with financial assistance and scholarships offered to families who need support.
The program is led by a passionate team of professional and youth coaches. It is led by Coach Duban Trujillo, founder of Octobots Football Academy and coach at Stevenson School, Carmel High School, and Santa Cruz United FC.
As an official MLS GO partner, the Octobots League connects local families to the spirit of Major League Soccer and is the first MLS GO League in Monterey Bay powered by Octobots Football Academy. Each MLS GO registration includes a reversible MLS GO jersey, shorts, and one free San Jose Earthquakes ticket, and players wear official MLS GO uniforms representing real MLS clubs such as the New York Red Bulls and Colorado Rapids. The mission of Octobots Football Academy states that every child deserves the chance to play, learn, and grow regardless of financial circumstances, that soccer should be a space for kids to have fun, grow, and connect on and off the field, and that the mission is to share lasting life lessons through the game, helping every child build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and more. For Octobots Juniors, families are asked to bring comfortable sportswear, soccer cleats or athletic shoes, shin guards, and a water bottle.
