Stevenson Sports Camps offers a range of sports options, including boys and girls basketball, boys and girls lacrosse, coed soccer, field hockey, girls volleyball, football, swimming, tennis, track and field, water polo, and yoga and wellness. Nike Basketball Camp at Stevenson offers a Complete Skills Camp that includes daily emphasis on fundamental skill development and team play, with discussions on situational play such as game management and up-tempo play. Boys Complete Skills Basketball runs July 13–16 and Girls Complete Skills Basketball runs July 20–23, with all basketball campers checking in Monday at 9 a.m., a closing ceremony on Thursday at 1:30 p.m., and check-out at 2 p.m. Basketball day campers stay until 4 p.m. on Monday, attend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. Overnight basketball campers stay in on-campus dorms, two per room, and if there is no roommate request, campers are placed with someone near their age. Nike Basketball Camp participants receive a Nike Basketball Camp t-shirt and other prizes, and lunch is provided for day campers Monday through Wednesday but not on Thursday.
Nike Football Camp runs June 25–28 and offers both day and overnight options. Instruction includes offensive and defensive position drills, athletic development, and competitive play, with a focus on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. For football day campers, meals include Thursday dinner, Friday and Saturday lunch, and no lunch on Sunday. For football overnight campers, meals include Thursday lunch and dinner, all three meals on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast only on Sunday.
Nike Girls Field Hockey Camp runs July 19–22 and is open to girls ages 10–18 of all skill levels. The camp provides morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions, with an All Skills program that includes stick work instruction and skills, technical and tactical training, offensive and defensive skills, positioning work, and goalie-specific training, along with special goalkeeping instruction. The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:10. All attendees receive a Nike Field Hockey Camps package (reversible jersey, ball, lanyard) and other prizes. Extended Day (commuter) field hockey campers follow a schedule of Day 1 from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Days 2 and 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Day 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All meals are provided for overnight field hockey campers, and lunch and dinner are provided for Extended Day campers.
Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp runs June 15–18 and groups athletes by age and skill level. The Skills program covers fundamental skills, position-specific training, and in-game tactical knowledge. The day camp schedule is Monday from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For boys lacrosse, all meals are provided for overnight campers, and lunch is provided for day (commuter) campers.
Across all Stevenson Sports Camps, participants eat lunch in the school dining hall, and a certified athletics trainer is on site for all camps. Overnight campers in applicable programs stay in campus dorms, two per room, with roommate requests not guaranteed.
Stevenson Summer Programs also offer a variety of programs for rising Kindergarten to Grade 8, and Stevenson Summer Camps are described as providing a blend of fun and learning for children of different ages and interests. The Nike Girls Field Hockey Camp is a Partner Camp of USA Field Hockey and is sanctioned to make referrals to the USAFH Nexus program.
The athletics program leadership includes Athletics Director Justin Clymo ’93. Nike Football Camp is directed by Kyle Cassamas. Nike Girls Field Hockey Camp is led by former UC Davis Head Coach Vianney Yamada. Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp is directed by former collegiate players and coaches Cooper Kehoe and Schuyler Horn.
