About
Evolution Martial Arts Center Taekwondo Programs offers training in Traditional Taekwondo, Olympic-style Taekwondo, Olympic Style Competition Sparring, Kyorugi (Sparring), and Poomsae (Forms). The program also includes an Open Workout session and uses World Taekwondo standards and regulations for Poomsae (Forms) training.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes are offered five days a week with afternoon and evening options Monday through Friday.
Master Barrios leads the program as the instructor and states that the goal is to pass on everything that martial arts has given, measuring success by the achievements of students. The Evolution Martial Arts Center Gymnasium is over 1,000 square feet, is open six days a week, and is lined with World Taekwondo approved training mats. The program offers a range of classes for different skill levels and ages, including a Little Eagles program for kids 4–6, youth classes for ages 7–12, and teen and adult classes for ages 13 and up in both Traditional and Olympic-style Taekwondo. The program includes Olympic-style training for aspiring Taekwondo athletes. The center shares stories from students and families who describe the dojang as a second home. Students are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes before class and be picked up promptly after class ends.
