Playa Vista Swimming offers private swim lessons, swim classes, swim team, Junior Lifeguard, adult lessons, adult classes, Swim Fit, Endurance, and triathlon lessons. Private swim lessons are offered for children, adults, triathlon swimming, junior lifeguard, and high school. Swim classes include Guppies for children who can build stamina for full 25-yard laps, Otters for children who can swim full 50 yards, and Dolphins for children who have mastered all four swimming strokes and can swim 100 yards.
Programs
- Baby/Infant Lessons — 6 months to 3 years old · Saturday mornings; classes offered April through September · Private Baby Lessons (for pool). Resident of 90094 with security card. Focus areas include submersions, water safety, breath control, comfort and balance in water, and water independence/acclimation.
- Private Swim Lessons — 3 years and up · Monday through Friday, and Saturday mornings · $60 per class · Private swimming lessons for children, adults, triathlon swimming, junior lifeguard, and high school. Resident of 90094 with security card. Offered for pool.
- Swim Classes: Guppies (Beginner Class) — 5 years and up · Available May through September · For water-safe children with basic swimming skills who need to build stamina for full 25-yard laps.
- Swim Classes: Otters (Intermediate Class) — 7 years and up · Offered year-round · For water-safe children who can comfortably swim full 50 yards and are building endurance.
- Swim Classes: Dolphins (Advanced Class) — Children · Offered year-round · For water-safe children who have mastered all four swimming strokes and can comfortably swim 100 yards.
- Swim Team — Competes in a swimming league against other swimming clubs in Los Angeles.
- Junior Lifeguard (Advanced Class) — Offered year-round; JLG swim tests will be in March and April · For swimmers wanting to take part in Junior Lifeguard Summer Camp.
- Adult Lessons — 18 years and up · Saturday mornings · Adult Private Lessons (for pool).

Playa Vista Swimming is a year-round organization providing swimming lessons and programs to the Playa Vista community. Swim team competes in a swimming league against other swimming clubs in Los Angeles. Junior Lifeguard is offered year-round for swimmers wanting to take part in Junior Lifeguard Summer Camp.
To participate in programs, you need to be a resident of Playa Vista 90094. Private Lessons are billed monthly. Annual registration fee is $35 per student collected at initial registration and annually on the anniversary month. Semiprivate lessons require both swimmers to attend and each swimmer is billed the monthly fee. Punch passes are non-refundable and valid for 180 days after purchase date.
