Cesar Gracie Academy offers Gracie Jiu-jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, competition classes, and MMA classes for kids. Kids can take part in regular jiu-jitsu classes as well as competition-focused training and a kids all ages MMA class.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids classes are offered Monday–Friday in Pleasant Hill for ages 4–7 from 3:30pm–4:30pm and for ages 8–14 from 4:30pm–5:30pm, with a Saturday class from 12:30pm–1:30pm; in Brentwood, kids classes run Monday–Thursday for ages 4–8 from 4:00pm–5:00pm and for ages 9–14 from 5:00pm–6:00pm, plus a Friday kids all ages MMA class from 5:00pm–6:00pm.
• Price: Monthly costs and fees include Unlimited Class Youth at $150.00, Unlimited Class Adult at $160.00, Walk-in Mat Fee Youth at $25.00, Walk-in Mat Fee Adult at $30.00, with family plans available.
Cesar Gracie Academy was founded in 1992 by Cesar Gracie. The program states that students learn the art of Gracie Jiu-jitsu from Cesar Gracie and his staff of Black belt instructors. The academy describes itself as the premier jiu jitsu academy of Northern California, the first BJJ school in the Bay Area, and highly respected and world renowned for producing the best of the best, with a team that has produced World Champions in every aspect of the game.
