Studio A

Studio A offers combo classes for ages 3-6 that include exercises, games, and activities, along with basics of jazz, tap, and ballet. It also offers intro classes for ages 5-6, plus jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and ballet and strength classes.

• Children's Division — Ages 3-6 · Combo classes and intro classes for ages 3-6.
• Combo Classes — Ages 3-6 · Creative blend of exercises, games, and activities to develop motor skills and introduce basics of jazz, tap, and ballet.
• Intro Classes — Ages 5-6 · Genre-specific beginner classes to explore individual styles of dance.
• Student Division — Ages 7+ · Classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels for students ages 7 through adult.
• Adult Division — Ages 18+ · Classes in Tap and Ballet for students who wish to begin or continue dance training for health, self-enrichment, or recreation.
• Competitive Division — Studio A Company; genre-specific dancers selected on an audition basis and training year-round.

About the provider

Studio A was established in 1998 and is in its 28th year. It is directed by Aggie Eidson. The studio says it is dedicated to providing dance instruction in a positive learning environment that recognizes individuality, encourages creative expression, and fosters self-esteem. It was voted Best of the East Bay by Diablo Magazine and was nominated for KRON 4 'Best of the Bay.'

Tuition is calculated on an average of 4 weeks of lessons per month and is automatically deducted on the 1st of the month. Tuition is non-refundable. Missed classes may be made up within one month. There are no refunds for dropped or missed classes. New students may do a trial class for $22. With the exception of water, there is no food or drink allowed on the studio premises. There is no eating allowed in the studio lobby.
