Jue's Taekwon-Do offers training in Taekwon-Do that includes kicking, punching, patterns, sparring, fundamentals, dallyon, and self defense. Classes include Little Ninjas, Children Taekwon-Do, Family Taekwon-Do, and Adult Taekwon-Do. Each class uses challenging and dynamic workouts that build strength physically and mentally through the South Korean martial art of Taekwon-Do, which was developed for the Korean military as a defensive martial art using the hands and feet and is known for spinning and jumping kicks.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options available Monday–Friday from early morning to evening, and on weekends in the morning
Jue's Taekwon-Do has 32 years of teaching martial arts, life skills, and self-defense in the Tri-Valley Area. The program states missions of “Building Champions for Life,” “Building Life Skills Through Taekwon-Do,” and “Changing Lives, One Student at a Time,” with an emphasis on a lifestyle that extends beyond Taekwon-Do. Students at Jue's Taekwon-Do have gone on to pursue higher education at schools such as Stanford, Yale, Columbia, UC Berkeley, and UCLA. Students have taught self-defense to underprivileged children overseas and have volunteered hundreds of hours to the community. The program offers Taekwon-Do in Pleasanton and San Ramon with unlimited classes seven days a week. Taekwon-Do’s practicality is described by the program as making it one of the most powerful martial arts in existence.
