Oam Studios Art Academy

Oam Studios Art Academy offers kid’s art classes, advanced art classes, children’s pottery, digital arts and animation, and one-on-one art classes. The program also offers D&D & Arts & Writing, birthday parties, summer art camp, Art Quest classes, art competitions, and private lessons. Additional options include adult pottery, corporate clay events, corporate art events, and a France & Spain art tour in 2023.

• Schedule: Kid’s Art Quest classes are closed on Sundays and Mondays; classes for ages 4–8 are 50 minutes, and classes for students 9 and up are 1 hour and 50 minutes, with up to 12 weeks to complete each project

Oam Studios Art Academy has been teaching art classes to students in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 15 years and has been teaching children from its Pleasanton Art Academy for nearly 15 years. The Art Quest curriculum lets students choose their own artistic path, starting at the “snail” level and branching into elements of water (painting), earth (sculpture), electricity (digital/technical art), and fire (drawing), and the curriculum includes all major visual arts. Students are taught individually in small groups, are placed in groups by age brackets ranging from 4–17 years old, and children ages 4.5–6 can attend if they are able to concentrate and retain their lessons. Class ratios are 1:5 for ages 4–8 and 1:10 for ages 9–17, and art projects emphasize quality over quantity.

All art materials and supplies are provided by Oam Studios Art Academy. The program offers a non-committal trial class with no payment unless the student joins, and guardians can freeze accounts from 1–3 months. If a student is absent, missed class credits are converted into make-up credits that never expire, and make-up credits can become class credits again after a new tuition plan of four or more classes is paid. The program has a no refund policy where all sales are final, and late fees are $10 for each week tuition is overdue. One-on-one art classes are available for special needs and neurodivergent students as well as adults, and Summer Art Camps 2025 are described as an adventure where tabletop RPG meets artistic skills.

Oam Studios Art Academy uses Oam Awards to motivate artists with different rewards. The studio also runs corporate team building events for businesses. Leadership includes Master Omar (also referred to as Master Oamie and Omar Morineau) and a studio director. Oam Studios Art Academy states that it strives continuously to be the best art school in the cities of Pleasanton and Tracy and continues to garner excellent reviews by their students and their guardians.
