Oam Studios Art Academy

Oam Studios Art Academy offers Kid’s Art Classes, an Advanced Class, Children’s Pottery, D&D&Arts & Writing, Digital Arts & Animation, One-on-One art classes, and Summer Camp and Summer Art Camps 2025, along with art competitions. The program also offers Adult Pottery, private lessons, birthday parties, corporate clay events, corporate art events, pottery memberships, and an Art Quest program where students follow a structured curriculum. All art materials and supplies are provided for classes.

• Schedule: Oam Studios Art Quest Kid's Classes are closed on Sundays and Mondays; children ages 4–8 attend a 50-minute art lesson, and students 9 and up attend a 1-hour and 50-minute art class, with up to 12 weeks to complete a project.

Oam Studios Art Academy describes its mission as providing a unique Art Quest for children to master many techniques of art through a wide range of technique-based and comprehensive art mediums and projects. The Art Quest program can be taken once a week or more, and there are no prerequisites for starting Art Quest. Children in Art Quest are separated by age brackets and range in age from 4–17 years old, and students 4.5–6 years old can attend if they are able to concentrate and retain their lessons. Some art students begin at 4.5 years old with a free evaluation class, and there is also a free trial class for kids art lessons in the Art Quest Program.

The curriculum uses levels starting at snail level and includes elements called water (painting), earth (sculpture), electricity (digital art), and fire (drawing). Classes are described as designed to teach students all the major visual arts and turn them into a Master Artist. Students choose their goals and path, are taught individually in small groups, and are placed in groups by age brackets. Projects are described as taking time, with an emphasis on quality vs. quantity, and each student has a maximum of 12 weeks to complete a project.

Summer Art Camps 2025 are described as an adventure full of creativity, games, and art where Table Top RPG meets artistic skills. One-on-One art classes in Pleasanton and Tracy are available for special needs and neurodivergent students, as well as adults seeking personalized art guidance. Oam Awards are mentioned as motivating artists with different rewards.

The program offers a non-committal trial class with no payment unless the student joins. Some students start classes whenever they like, and guardians can freeze accounts from 1–3 months. Pre-absences can be scheduled before missing a class, and make-up credits never expire and can be used on a different day than the regular class day; make-up credits can become class credits again after a new tuition plan of 4 or more classes is paid. Tuition plans depend on the age bracket and class plan, and the program has a no refund policy where all sales are final.

Oam Studios Art Academy reports that it has been entrusted with teaching art classes to its art students for over 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been teaching children art from its Pleasanton Art Academy for nearly 15 years.
