TEAM Theatre

TEAM Theatre offers youth theatre classes and performing arts programs that include acting classes for kids and teens, musical theatre workshops, improv, and voice and movement training. Students can also take part in stage management and technical theatre, including set design, costume design, and lighting design, and participate in full-scale theatre productions and summer camps. TEAM Theatre treats performing arts as a team sport, and students may be set builders, costume designers, assistant directors, and more as they experience the full journey from first class to final performance through to a final production.

Founded in 2015 by theatre professionals Rachel Robinson and Salim Razawi, TEAM Theatre offers programs for all ages and experience levels and serves families across Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, and the greater Tri-Valley area. The mission of TEAM Theatre is to educate and empower the next generation of collaborative storytellers. Faculty includes some of the Bay Area’s teaching artists, directors, and designers, and they model a professional theatre environment where students are treated as respected collaborators while upholding high standards for sets, lights, props, and costumes. TEAM Theatre is described as the Tri-Valley’s premier training ground for students interested in acting, musical theatre, technical theatre, and design, and it partners with Tri-Valley businesses, participates in civic events, and provides cultural enrichment for families throughout the region. Registration is open for the Summer 2025 season.

Co-founder Salim Razawi majored in Theatre Arts at Las Positas College with an emphasis in acting and a minor in communications, and he spent two years on a collegiate competitive speaking team where he was nationally and internationally recognized and awarded. When not performing, he teaches Theatre Arts, directs, and coaches private students through various companies in the Bay Area.
