Ganon Gil Early Childhood Center offers Infant Toddler Center care for children 6 weeks to 24 months and Preschool through pre-kindergarten for children 6 weeks to 6 years. The program also includes Tot Shabbat with songs and crafts, a summer program with water play, gardening, cooking, outdoor projects, and child-directed exploration, an intergenerational reading program, The Ganon Gil Garden with science and locally grown organic food, and weekly physical education by Playball San Diego.

Ganon Gil Early Childhood Center has provided education for children for over 30 years. It is described as a Jewish themed early childhood center that uses Jewish values as a basis for much of what it teaches, with developmentally appropriate, play-based education and an emphasis on kindergarten readiness. The program welcomes all families regardless of background, religion, or affiliation, and parent participation and feedback are encouraged.

• SummerCamp — Summer program with water play, gardening, cooking, outdoor projects, and child-directed exploration.
• IntergenerationalReading Program — Story time with intergenerational volunteers and children’s literature.
• The Ganon Gil Garden — Outdoor enrichment experience with science, tikkun olam, and learning about locally grown organic food.
• Physical Education — Weekly enrichment program by Playball San Diego.

Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families can add extra time before or after the morning and afternoon enrichment schedule at an hourly rate. Expertise in integrating children with special needs. Teachers provide guidance in potty training.
