Kid Dance Brigade After School Program

Kid Dance Brigade After School Program features a dance party format with fun, easy-to-follow dance routines set to contemporary music. The program uses songs such as “Chihuahua,” “What The Fox Says,” and “Thriller” as part of its dance activities.

• Ages: 5–10 years old
• Schedule: Wednesdays 4:00–4:45, offered as a 5-class series from January 18th to February 15th
• Price: 5 Class Series $75 ($15/class) or Drop in $18/class

The program takes place at Hidden City Ballroom. The series is described as a “License to thrill,” and scholarships are available.

Teaching Artist Tom Mayock leads the program and brings dance arts to thousands of children annually through standards-based curriculum in elementary schools. His K–5th grade curriculum includes Jazz, Creative Movement, and student-generated composition. He is the Co-Artistic Director and Choreographer of Sun Valley Elementary's World Dance Festival for 5 years and The Classroom Connections Festival for 7 years. As a Teaching Artist, he has been with SFArtsED at 2 elementary schools for 10 years. The Kid Dance Brigade After-School Program and Summer Camp in Marin County have been serving families for over a decade.
