• Schedule: RPAL services and resources include a safe place to go after school.

The Richmond Police Activities League is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1982. Its mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people through recreational, educational, cultural, and social programs while building positive relations between police officers and the community. The organization is dedicated to supporting young people holistically and is passionate about having a positive impact on young people toward helping them recognize their greatest potential and achieve their long-term success. The Richmond Police Activities League is a proud member of both the California Police Activities League and the National Police Activities League. One of the program’s shared quotes is, “Everybody can be great . . . because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” – Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
