Richmond Police Activities League (RPAL) After-School Programs offer homework help, sports, STEM and arts activities, mentoring, computer labs, cultural trips, and activities such as NFL Flag Football. The program also includes options like Volleyball Practice, Movie Time, E-Games, Podcast, Boxing, Culinary Club, Gardening Club, Sports League, Chess Club, Maker's Space, STEAM Activities, Game Show, and Basketball Practice during the week.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, with additional morning volleyball practices on Monday and Tuesday and various scheduled activities throughout each afternoon and early evening

RPAL’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people through recreational, educational, cultural, and social programs while building positive relations between police officers and the community. The organization focuses on at-risk youth, offers meals, and includes Youth Empowerment programming, an Athletic Academy, Creative Hub activities, and an Outdoor Education & Adventure Program. RPAL reports that 99.8% of diversion participants avoid re-offending, 90% of youth report positive growth in areas such as leadership, confidence, communication, teamwork, problem solving, life skills, and decision making, 99% report feeling safer and more connected to positive adults and their community, 89% improve school engagement, and 98% graduate from high school. The 45th Annual Richmond PAL Golf Tournament helps fund mentorship, education, and recreation programs for local kids and supports connections between officers and the community.
