The Practice Space Youth Public Speaking Programs

The Practice Space Youth Public Speaking Programs offer public speaking programs that include workshops on presentation, speaking on the spot, and confident communication. The programs also include K–12 after-school or summer programs, school-site events and guest speaking, and public speaking programs for people of all ages for personal and educational transformation. In addition to youth programs, The Practice Space Youth Public Speaking Programs are part of a nonprofit that also offers coaching, professional development, and public speaking programs for adults and organizations in schools and workplaces.

The Practice Space Youth Public Speaking Programs are part of a nonprofit that coaches people and organizations in schools and workplaces to promote engagement, leadership, and career/life readiness. The organization’s mission is to provide coaching, professional development, and public speaking programs for people of all ages for personal and educational transformation. The program received the Activating Equity Award given by the National Speech & Debate Association. Participants have said that The Practice Space allowed them to relax and trust enough to have the courage to try new things and believe they could achieve their goals going forward, and that many people feel more comfortable with public speaking in everyday life. Other participants have said that it is a place where kids talk about finding their voice through speech and where it is okay to make mistakes.
