About
Early Childhood Education Programs at Sacramento Children's Museum include hands-on experiments in Leo's Learning Lab, music instrument exploration in the Sound Explorers class, and mindful exercise in the Yoga Play class. Children also experiment with the movement of air at the Airways wind tunnel exhibit, create traditional folk art from cultures around the world in the Art Studio, and stretch their imaginations on the theater stage. These programs take place within a setting that includes 20 interactive exhibits, STEM-based discovery spaces, art and creative pursuits, a pretend-play neighborhood, and an area for infant and toddler development, and they teach foundational concepts in STEM, the arts, and literacy, and help children learn about the world around them.
