Granite Arch Kids Climbing Programs and Camps

Granite Arch Kids Climbing Programs and Camps take place inside a full-service climbing gym that offers autobelays, traditional rope climbing, lead climbing, and bouldering. Kids climb on walls up to 35 feet tall, with over 150 routes at any given time, including routes graded from 5.4 up to 5.13cd. A signed waiver and photo ID are required for entry.

• Schedule: Open climbing hours Monday–Saturday 11am–10pm and Sunday 12pm–5pm

Granite Arch Kids Climbing Programs and Camps are held in a facility with over 20,000 square feet of climbing wall surface, including hyperrealistic “natural rock” walls and some of the most natural indoor rock walls in California. The gym includes a boulder room about 12 feet tall with big cushy mats and a mix of natural rock walls and traditional wooden walls, as well as hangboards, a campus board, free weights, and a punching bag. The facility also has a party room, an Adventure Village, and a section of top-roping walls reserved for birthday parties, plus a lounge area with free wifi and handmade chairs. A gear shop on site carries shoes, harnesses, lead ropes, and carabiners from brands like Black Diamond, Edelrid, and Butora.

Granite Arch has been serving the Sacramento climbing community since 1996. The mission of Granite Arch is to bring out the best in one another by connecting, growing, and climbing together.
