In Person Enrichment Programs offers in-person activities that include Drum Circle, Arts & Crafts, Social Club, Adaptive Dance, Adaptive Basketball, an Adaptive Sports program with basketball and soccer, and a Buddy Match program. The program also includes seminars and workshops for parents, WhatsApp support groups, an inclusive 5K Walk/Run, an Annual Sports Day, a Dance-a-thon, talent shows, and holiday parties. Programs are structured and broken into simple steps, incorporate fine and gross motor skills, and are open to individuals who are neuro-diverse and their families, with specified programs available for ages 5 and above who are neuro-diverse.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Drum Circle, Arts & Crafts, and Social Club meet on March 7, 14, 21, April 18, and May 9, on Saturdays, with 45-minute sessions in the afternoon.
• Price: Drum Circle costs $10.00 per class; Arts & Crafts costs $10.00 per class and $50.00 total for 5 weeks; Social Club costs $10.00 per class.

For Drum Circle, each class runs from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, and participants must bring their own drum, with an Amazon link available by contacting [email protected] or texting 510-386-6842. Arts & Crafts classes run from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM, and Social Club runs from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM, with limited spots for Drum Circle (10), Arts & Crafts (12), and Social Club (12). Parent or caregiver presence and supervision is required at all times for Adaptive Dance, students in Adaptive Dance learn a medley of Bollywood songs and have the opportunity to perform at events, and there are no walk-ins for Adaptive Dance because registration is required. The Buddy Match program pairs volunteers with an individual with different abilities who has similar interests and meet once a week, and instructors and volunteers are trained to engage with participants. WeEMBRACE, which runs these programs, was founded in 2018 and serves individuals who are neuro-diverse and their families. Its mission is to provide a complete and comprehensive support system for the families of children, adults, and seniors with different abilities by creating opportunities and promoting inclusion in areas such as employment, education, housing, recreation, and leisure. The organization offers free classes for individuals with different abilities, WhatsApp support groups for parents, professionals, and well-wishers, and aims to build a loving and all-inclusive community where families can network, get information about available resources, and connect with the community at large while celebrating neurodiversity.

The leadership team includes cofounders Meena Kalyanasundaram and Som Sundararajan, who serve as President/CEO and Chief Financial Officer, along with Advisory Board member Aparna Agarwal, Board Members Satish Pallapottu, Akila Dharmalingam, Nithya Ramachandran, and Srinivas Konchada, and Website Manager Amish Gupta. Meena holds an MBA and an MS in Special Education; Som holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is the Director for Cloud Operations at Oracle Inc.; Nithya has an MS in Computer Application; and Srinivas holds an MS degree in Computer Science and an MBA with a focus on leadership.
