Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA Camps

Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA Camps offers soccer training that includes ball control, dribbling, passing, attacking, shooting, defense, coordination, and game-like situations. Camp activities include small-sided and full-sided games, attacking and defending transitions, counter-attacking strategies, prolonged possession sequences, and a variety of duels such as 1v1, 2v1, 3v2, and 4v3. Players also work on set pieces (direct and indirect), functional shooting, passing and crossing into finishing opportunities, first touch into space plus shooting situations, and shooting under pressure.

During the week, morning sessions focus on drills based on a specific topic, and afternoon sessions focus on game-like situations that apply the topic of the day. The daily schedule includes a greeting and stimulation exercise, three training sessions, a lunch break, matches, and a debrief with Paris Saint-Germain Academy head coaches. Training groups are created based on age, level, skill, and ability.

All coaches are Paris Saint-Germain–certified and/or UEFA-licensed, or hold a U.S. equivalent license, and are official Paris Saint-Germain Academy coaches. PSG Academy states that its training is based on the Paris Saint-Germain methodology, including technical mastery, tactical intelligence, and overall game awareness, and that players train “The Paris Way” through official Paris Saint-Germain training programs. The academy also states that players learn Paris Saint-Germain values and philosophy of the game, including fair play, respect, and commitment. An Awards Ceremony is held on the last day of the camp week to present players with a Paris Saint-Germain Academy Diploma. The best players during the week are given the opportunity to travel to Paris to attend one of the exclusive Paris Clinics, and MVPs from each camp are selected for chances to participate in unique soccer opportunities hosted by Paris Saint-Germain in Paris. The event is described as providing the ultimate Paris Saint-Germain pro player experience and allowing players to play at the top of their game.

Families are instructed to pack cleats, shin guards, water, sunscreen, and a lunch box or snacks in a cooler, as lunch is not provided. All players must wear the official Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA camp uniform kit at all times while camp is in session, and the PSG kit can be purchased during registration for use during the camp.
