Ride to Fly offers Therapeutic Riding, Adaptive Riding, and Equine Assisted Learning. Lessons involve recreational horseback riding adapted to individuals with disabilities, with each lesson typically including 2 or more students participating. The minimum age requirement for riders is 3.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: 10-week sessions in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall; each lesson lasts 30 minutes
• Price: The cost of a 10-week session is $900.
Ride to Fly is a non-profit organization and a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) that has been sharing the gift of horsemanship with people with disabilities since 1994. Scholarship applications are available upon request. The program relies heavily on donations of time, money, equipment, and supplies from members of the community in order to sustain the program.
