About
Redlands Gymnastics Club offers gymnastics and dance, along with special events such as Parents Night Out, Skills Open Gym, and Play Dates. The program uses a lesson plan that combines challenging equipment with music, gymnastics, dance, and other activities. Families can watch from a larger than normal Observation Area in a 9,000 sq. ft. facility.
Redlands Gymnastics Club has over 900 enrolled students and more than 20 staff members and coaches. The program includes unique events like Parents Night Out and Skills Open Gym, as well as Play Dates where parents are able to use the gym’s facility to support parent/child bonding without a membership commitment. The mission of Redlands Gymnastics Club is to create a high-quality, safe and enjoyable environment where all children, regardless of athletic ability, will have the opportunity to build confidence and overall fitness through gymnastics. The program states that staff care deeply about the personal development of each student and that personal development always supersedes athletic skill achievement. Its vision includes helping kids of all ages and all levels to grow, develop, lay a foundation of healthy habits, and have fun, and it describes itself as an innovative program that provides children with an enjoyable learning experience which produces a profoundly positive and lasting effect on their personal growth. The club describes this venture as being all about and all for the kids of Redlands and neighboring cities.
Founder Sandy Stein has owned the gym since May 2000, when she purchased Tumble Tots Gymnastics, where she previously served as Gym Manager. The newly re-named Redlands Gymnastics Club moved into its current 9,000 sq. ft. facility in July 2012. Sandy is described as a wife and mother of four young children, and the club’s materials show © Copyright 2011–2020 // Redlands Gymnastics Club.
