Canyon Lake Farm

Canyon Lake Farm offers Riding Lessons, Riding Camps, and Horsemanship Skills Camps & Courses. Riding Lessons are an hour long and include time grooming and tacking the horse with the help of the instructor, plus 30 to 40 minutes in the saddle. Riding Camps are 3- or 4-day camps where students learn English and Western riding, grooming, and hands-on horse experience. Horsemanship Skills Camps & Courses cover equipment and tack identification, basic first aid, wrapping, horse handling, feeding, and maintenance.

Programs

• Riding Lessons — Tuesday through Sunday · Lessons are an hour long and include time grooming and tacking the horse with the help of the instructor, plus 30 to 40 minutes in the saddle.
• Riding Camps — Open to ages 7 & up; beginners welcome. · 3- or 4-day camp; students learn English and Western riding, grooming, and hands-on horse experience. Boots, long pants, water, and a sack lunch are required.
• Horsemanship Skills Camps & Courses — Open to students ages 12 and up, as well as those who have participated in a riding program for at least one year. · Day camp and 6-week course covering equipment and tack identification, basic first aid, wrapping, horse handling, feeding/maintenance, and more.
