Blue Chip Flag – Redwood City offers youth flag football. The program includes non-contact play with age-appropriate rules and co-ed teams, along with an all-girls GEMS (Girls Empowerment Movement in Sports) pathway at every level. Every child who wants to play gets a chance to step on the field, and every kid plays every week with equal opportunity to get on the field and rotate positions.
• Ages: 3–17 years old
• Schedule: Spring season runs April 12th–May 31st, 2026, with no games on Sunday, May 24th; full teams, rosters, and schedules are released by Sunday, March 29th. Spring season runs April 12th–May 31st and fall season runs October 25th–December 13th.
Blue Chip Sports has been leading youth flag football programs for over ten years. Coaches in this program are background-checked. The league has a Fair Play promise overseen by a League Operations team that manages schedules, rules, and competitive balance. The program follows an email-only customer service policy with defined response times and offers a Game-Day Hotline or text-alert system for last-minute cancellations, weather delays, or safety emergencies. Blue Chip Sports and SportsEngine Play enable families to stream games and events live, and official BCYS merchandise is available through the Blue Chip Sports Store.
