Woodside Parents' Nursery School

Woodside Parents' Nursery School offers a play-based daily rhythm that includes arrival and free play, circle time, snack and story time, small group or continued play, exploration time, and a closing circle. Children take part in songs, movement, stories, music, science, cooking, Zoo Phonics, art, library time, and visits from special guests.

• Schedule: Toddler, 2’s, 3’s, and Pre-K classes with morning options Monday–Friday, plus optional Early Drop Off and Lunch Bunch on selected days
• Price: Toddler Class tuition: $220/month. 2's Class tuition: $475/month for 2 days. 3's Class tuition: $625/month for 3 days. Pre-K tuition: $1,245/month for 4 days. Early Drop Off cost: $10 per day. Lunch Bunch cost: $30/day.

Woodside Parents' Nursery School is a non-profit parent cooperative overseen by a Board of parent volunteers and operated by its member families and professional teachers. The Toddler Class is a “Parent and Me” style class where parents attend with their children, and in other classes parents work in the classroom approximately 1–2 times a month, serve on at least one committee, attend family events, participate in one Community Rebuilding Day per school year, and support fundraisers to the best of their ability. The Toddler Class serves children ages 13–23 months and meets one day a week on Fridays from 9:30–11:30am, with Teacher Diana as the instructor and one teacher with up to 10 students and their parents. The 2’s Class serves children age 2 years as of program start and offers 2- or 4-day options (T/Th, M/W, or M–Th) from 9:00–11:30am, with Teachers Susan and Diana leading a class of up to 12 children and a 1:3 ratio that includes two fully qualified teachers and two parents; potty training is not required for this class. The 3’s Class serves children age 3 years and meets three days per week (MWF) from 9:00am–12:00pm, with Teachers Andrea and Susan and a class of up to 14 students supported by two fully qualified teachers and one parent; potty training is not required for this class. The Pre-K class serves children age 4 years by December 31st and meets four days per week (M–Th) from 9:00am–2:00pm, with Teacher Daran and one parent in a class of up to 10 students. Extended care options include Early Drop Off from 8:30–9:00am and Lunch Bunch from 12:00–2:00pm, both offered five days per week with choice of days, open to children in the 3’s and Pre-K classes and staffed by WPNS staff with no working parent responsibilities. WPNS states that it strives to foster a community where parents and children learn, communicate, play, and grow together in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate school environment that includes social, emotional, intellectual, and physical learning, and it values play, experimentation, energy, compassion, and active parent involvement. WPNS parents are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the school, including classroom participation, serving on the board of directors, and working on various committees. Woodside Parents' Nursery School holds License #414005268, has enrollment open for the 2026–2027 school year, and admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin and does not discriminate on these bases in administration of its policies and programs.
