Art Classes for Kids & Teens takes place in Richmond Art Center galleries and courtyard space, with studios open only to registered students. Gallery admission is free for families who visit the galleries connected to the program.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
Richmond Art Center notes, “Sharing art and creating with the community since 1936.” As part of its 90th anniversary, Richmond Art Center invites the community to share memories and reflections on what Richmond Art Center means to them. Richmond Art Center’s studios and galleries are on one level and no stairs are required for entry. Parking at Richmond Art Center is free. Mask wearing is optional inside Richmond Art Center, and some Teaching Artists require masks to be worn in their classes. Gallery spaces are available to rent for receptions, celebrations, meetings, book launches, and more, surrounded by local art.
