OMAC Martial Arts has been shaping lives for over five decades. Its programs include children’s, teen/adult, and family martial arts, as well as an afterschool program and educational camps. The staff includes an expert team of highly qualified Masters and Instructors, led by Grand Master Hyung Chul Kim, the founder of OMAC Martial Arts and a pioneer of North American Taekwondo, along with Master Wesley and Instructors Selo and Daniel. The mission of OMAC is stated as: “At OMAC, legacy and leadership unite to empower thousands of families to build confidence, achieve goals, and embrace lifelong success.” Students at OMAC Martial Arts learn to contribute to their community, big and small, through their training.

Parents describe the dojo as big, bright, inspiring, and very clean, and say the facility is amazing with great instructors and top-notch instruction. Several parents report that their children are eager and enthusiastic to attend classes, with some families attending for more than five years and referring to OMAC as a second home. Testimonials highlight that instructors are knowledgeable, highly skilled, patient, very approachable, and great with kids, and note that children have earned black belts under their guidance. Parents also mention that staff members are friendly, helpful, open, welcoming, professional, respectful, and enthusiastic, and that their children enjoy practicing and learning at OMAC Vaughan.
