About

Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front Educational Field Trips introduces students to WWII Home Front history through interactive exhibits, educational videos, and ranger-led programs. The program includes interactive displays that students can touch and explore, and visits can be tailored to meet specific educational goals.

• Ages: 9–18 years old

Knowledgeable rangers and enthusiastic docents are available to tailor visits to meet educational goals. The National Park Service provides an online reservations request form for educators to streamline booking a park visit for classroom or school groups. Teachers and chaperones must supervise students at all times, and students are expected to stay within designated areas, stay on marked trails, and be mindful of wildlife and natural habitats. Teachers are asked to review park rules, expectations, and emergency procedures, including locations of first aid stations and emergency contacts, before visiting.
