Skytown Parent Cooperative Preschool

Skytown Parent Cooperative Preschool offers a play-based, emergent curriculum. Children may move at will between indoor and outdoor activities, and preschoolers use a mixed-age classroom while toddlers have their own separate classroom and enclosed play yard.

Programs

• Toddler Program — 18 months to 3 years old · Mon-Thu 9:00am-1:00pm; 3 or 4 days per week · $814 per month · Enrollment limited to 12 children per day under the direct supervision of the Lead Teacher and member parents.
• Preschool Program — 2.5 to 5 years old · Mon-Fri 9:00am-1:00pm, plus extended hours Monday through Wednesday; 3, 4, or 5 days per week · $664–$885 per month · Enrollment limited to 24 children per day under the direct supervision of a teacher and assisted by member parents.

At Skytown, teachers and parents work together to create a play-based, emergent curriculum. The program states that teachers and parents support the development of self-confident, self-aware, and compassionate human beings.

Applications will only be considered when submitted with the application fee. Applications can be dropped off in-person during school hours, in the mailbox, or by emailing [email protected]. Application fees are accepted by cash, check, or PayPal. Touring Skytown takes place the third Wednesday of every month from 2pm-3pm and by arrangement at other times; children are welcome on the tours. Parent participation is approximately 1 day for every 4 days of scheduled attendance in the preschool program and approximately 1 day for every 3 days of scheduled attendance in the toddler program.
