Soccer Shots is a children’s soccer program where kids take part in soccer, fun games, and team competitions. The program includes age-appropriate soccer skills and covers fundamental soccer principles such as using feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Children also practice basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, and participate in competitive play on Soccer Island, a safe environment used for the program.

Soccer Shots offers program types called MINI (Toddler), CLASSIC (Preschool), and PREMIER (School-Age), all using an expert-designed, age-appropriate curriculum taught by fully trained coaches. The curriculum is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches, and places an emphasis on character development and skill building. Every Soccer Shots coach must complete a comprehensive training program to receive certification, is trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques, and is routinely evaluated and given ongoing training. Soccer Shots partners with local childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, and other organizations to bring soccer to children across North America. The program’s mission statement is: “As the premier Children’s Soccer Experience, our mission is clear – we aim to positively impact children’s lives.” Soccer Shots is consistently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the #1 Children’s Fitness Franchise in the U.S. and is described as the most trusted and engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years, with a focus on making a positive introduction to sports and activity while also making a lasting impact on kids and their families.
Soccer Shots was formed in 1997 and began franchising in 2005, opening its first four franchises in Ohio, Delaware, Florida, and Pennsylvania. From its beginnings, Soccer Shots has grown to over 300 territories across 43 states and 2 Canadian provinces, with over 560,000 enrollments in Soccer Shots programming in 2023. The founding partners are Jeremy Sorzano and Jason Webb, and in May of 2009, Justin Bredeman became the third Soccer Shots partner. Soccer Shots Franchising, LLC is based in central Pennsylvania, just east of Harrisburg. Through partnerships with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Nike, and other organizations, Soccer Shots aims to impact children and communities across the U.S. and the world.
