Swim Fins Swim School is led by Claudine (“Clo”), who is the owner of Swim Clo Aquatics and Fitness, now Swim Fins Swim School. Professional coaches at the program are personally mentored by Claudine. The Swim Fins Learn-to-Swim program is described as an innovative, one-of-a-kind program and is the result of 30 years of refinement under Swim Clo Aquatics and Fitness, which has delivered swimming lessons to the Lower Mainland for 30 years. The program includes customized lesson plans, small class sizes, and group lessons with a maximum of five swimmers per coach, and it offers year-round lessons. Swim Fins Swim School is a specialized swim school targeting children between the ages of four to nine years old, but it is accessible to all ages, and it uses flippers in lessons to help students swim with straight legs and kick from their hips instead of their knees. All students start with goggles or masks in swimming lessons, and children are assessed on their abilities without eyewear. The Swim Fins dream is for everyone to learn to swim, be safe, and have fun, and the program identifies as proudly Canadian and community-driven.

Swim Fins Swim School has been voted “Most Popular” four years in a row. Parent feedback includes comments that children swam without a flotation device after one class with minimal previous pool time, that improvement in swimming ability over summer and fall sessions has been described as amazing, and that one child used what was learned at Swim Fins to get out of a backyard pool after falling in while unsupervised.
