Aria's To The Pointe offers dance and ballet classes, including ballet technique classes derived from a strong Vaganova and Balanchine background. The program includes competitive performance opportunities and ATTP Company performances for dancers who participate in the company. Instruction focuses on kinesthetic awareness, safety, and longevity for the student in a professional, safe and nurturing environment.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes offered six days a week for dancers of all ages and experience levels
The program’s mission is to provide a safe, family environment where students can enjoy learning and discover their full potential, while giving students a solid technical background in ballet and performance opportunities if they wish to showcase their work and passion for dance. The faculty is described as qualified, with over 150 years of combined training and teaching experience, and the studio serves families in Rocklin, Loomis, Roseville, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Auburn, Antelope and the greater Sacramento area.
ATTP Company dancers are selected by audition and perform in a variety of community and competitive venues. Company dancers have performed multiple times on Good Day Sacramento, with the Sacramento Kings, and throughout the Pacific Northwest at regional and national competitions and conventions.
Parents describe small class sizes, a family environment, and many chances for dancers to perform in the community and at competitions. They note that ballet technique is taught to young students, that instructors blend ballet technique with creative movement, and that children look forward to their ballet classes.
