About

TNT Kidz Center Summer Camp offers eight weeks of action-packed activities that include weekly Wake Island field trips and visits to skate parks for school-age campers. Preschool Camp follows its own calendar and does not include offsite field trips. The program encourages students to take healthy risks that challenge their courage and confidence as they work to reach new skill levels and abilities, and each camper is given chances for individual growth while teachers model, set, and praise examples of good character.

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Preschool Camp and School Age Camp run Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm, across an eight-week summer session (June 8–August 7, 2026)

Every week at TNT Kidz Center Summer Camp is dedicated to a specific character trait, and staff talk with campers about honesty, integrity, responsibility, and respectfulness. The mission of TNT Kidz Center is to teach students, through mental, emotional, and physical self-discipline, how to positively transform their character in all areas of their lives. TNT Kidz Center offers Music, Dance, Martial Arts, Homeschool Enrichment, Summer Camps, Sports, and full-day childcare programs, and its stated goal is to be viewed as a character development program rather than a daycare. The leadership team includes Emily Balga (Mrs. Emily), Kyle Balga, and Athena Balga, with Kyle and Emily Balga listed as the owners of TNT Kidz Center. The program began in 2018 as an in-home daycare and first summer camp, expanded into a commercial music studio in February 2020, and later opened its current center after a nearby daycare closed one of its locations. The organization notes financial support from the Hafeman, Altaffer, McBride, Pasewark, and Kloetzer families, and describes its landlord Ed Fong and his son Jeff as generous, patient, and kind as the program has grown. TNT Kidz Center states that it believes in transparency, family inclusion, and individual choice, and that it aims to create a community of families who share a growth mindset and a passion for being better parents and community members, with an ultimate goal of growing its preschool program and opening a campus that offers high-level training in a wide variety of athletics, arts, and different activities.
