Adventure Recreation states that its mission is to empower children to grow physically and emotionally by building their confidence one skill at a time through Tumble & Warrior Class, camps, open gyms, day camps, micro-school, Kids Night Out, and other offerings in a safe and welcoming environment for kids of all ages and abilities. The program includes Homeschool Days where kids 4 years and older can be dropped off for curriculum support, PE, art, and science experiments, and Kids Night Out events where parents can drop off kids ages 4 and up for an evening of activities. For drop-off programs such as Drop-Ins, Open Gyms, and Kids Night Out, children are asked to be potty trained and at least 4 years old, while children 3 and under should be accompanied by an adult, and parents are welcome to stay and watch any program.

Coach Andrea leads the gym as owner and operator, with experience running toddler programs, gymnastics, Ninja Warrior, recreational gymnastics, and an Xcel team, and she developed and led an alternative elementary school program for first through sixth grade during Covid. The coaching staff includes coaches such as Laini, Ella, Rayan, Emily, Janessa, Annie, Makena, Jett, Alia, Sydney, Becca, Tanner, Savannah, Aya, Josie, and Faith, with backgrounds that include Xcel Platinum competition, Junior Olympics Level 10 gymnastics, and years of Martial Arts experience. The program describes its coaches as having unique leadership styles, diverse backgrounds, and a shared love of working with kids, and notes a focus on both gymnastics and Ninja Warrior programs under one roof, including Adaptive Ninja with small class sizes and age-specific Ninja Vortex classes for ages 5–7 and 8–16, plus Bumble Bee Academy for ages 0–4.

Adventure Recreation highlights a community vibe at Somo Village and mentions a mission that includes fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among staff, students, and families. One parent testimonial from A. McCall notes that a child has grown up with Adventure Recreation, feels supported and challenged by the coaching staff, and that the family appreciates flexible class options during busy sports seasons. Another testimonial from A. Hillstead states that their three children have participated in tumble classes, ninja classes, explore time, and summer camps over several years, that the kids enjoy the coaches, and that overlapping class times for siblings have been helpful.
