About
Excel for Youth offers a range of specific classes, including Myth-Busting Science, Amazing Escape Room, The Art of Printmaking, Marine Life Art, Time Travelers, and Graphic Design Boot Camp. The program includes dynamic S.T.E.A.M.-based courses that cover these different topics and formats.
• Schedule: Santa Rosa City Schools (Santa Rosa) June 16–20 and June 23–27, with Session 1 from 8:30–11:30 a.m. and Session 2 from 12:15–3:15 p.m.
EXCEL has been honored by the State of California with an Assembly Resolution presented by then Assemblyman Jared Huffman for years of outstanding contributions to education, and is listed by Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth programs for gifted students. High school teacher assistants are needed for this program. A child must attend one of the participating districts to join, and the child’s school or district will reach out with registration details.
