Redwood Country Kids Club

Redwood Country Kids Club offers a variety of programs tailored to the needs of children and families. The program takes place in a well-equipped, child-centered space with a flexible schedule that allows for regular attendance and a variety of options for families. The environment is described as warm and welcoming, with a supportive setting that adjusts to each child’s level and promotes growth and self-confidence.

For over 40 years, Learning to Learn has been a trusted name in early childhood education in Sonoma County, and Redwood Country Kids Club operates as an affiliate that offers before and after-school programs for children in TK through 8th grade. The children of the original owners, Jeanne Cousino and Helen Dexter Johnson, now oversee the continued operations of the centers. Jeanne held a Master’s Degree in Education and a California Teaching Credential, and Helen had a B.A. in Education. The program is part of three schools serving the Rohnert Park and Petaluma areas and operates under Redwood Country Kids Club License # 490111750. The mission of the program is to focus on nurturing the skills and attitudes that set the foundation for future learning, with the belief that fostering healthy self-esteem and preparing for academic success should begin long before kindergarten.
