Redwood Country Kids Club

Redwood Country Kids Club operates as an affiliate of Learning to Learn and offers before and after-school programs for children in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. The program offers a flexible, organized, and relaxed atmosphere where children can explore and learn, with distinct programs tailored to meet children’s developmental and academic needs. Its curriculum addresses academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Learning to Learn, the organization behind Redwood Country Kids Club, has been a trusted name in early childhood education in Sonoma County for over 40 years. The mission focuses on nurturing the skills and attitudes that set the foundation for future learning, with an emphasis on fostering healthy self-esteem and preparing for academic success long before kindergarten. The children of the original owners, Jeanne Cousino and Helen Dexter Johnson, now oversee the continued operations of the centers; Jeanne held a Master’s Degree in Education and a California Teaching Credential, and Helen had a B.A. in Education. The program states a commitment to building strong relationships with families and supporting each child’s journey through collaboration, respect, and involvement.
