About the provider

Sonoma County Martial Arts Center was established in 1983. Its leadership team includes Master Herb Cody Senior, Founder; Phil Colonna, Chris Bertnick, Brandon Bertnick, Adam Jaimes, Marcus Kuok, Terri Crews, Al Liwanag, Ms. Joelle, and Todd Gilchrist. The mission statement says, “Your mind, body & soul,” and notes that with proper body mechanics and training, students achieve a healthier body, greater sense of self esteem, mental awareness, and over all mental calmness. The credentials state that Master Herb Cody Senior has trained 8 World Champions, has a Masters Degree in traditional Kenpo Karate, and has over 42 years experience in kickboxing.

Rank is awarded based on achievement not time served. Competition training is optional and is not forced upon students. Private lessons and other training are by appointment. Schedule subject to change.
