PV Music House describes itself as a music school and music lesson studio with an in-house and online music store that includes instrument rentals and rent-to-own options, accessories, and merchandise from local musicians, along with in-house repair staff and partnerships with external repair facilities when needed. It states that it has been the premier music lesson studio on the Palos Verdes Peninsula since the 1980s and that it is building growing ensembles to promote music as a team activity, with performance built in as a regular part of training rather than a final exam.

The organization’s mission states that it is rooted in the belief that music is a vehicle for good, that music education is for everyone, and that music is a practice, a language, and a lifelong way of becoming more fully human. It states that its vision is for students to leave loving music more deeply than when they arrived, that it is building thoughtful, creative, emotionally intelligent individuals who use music as a form of expression, connection, and resilience, and that it measures success by progress and willingness to perform rather than perfection.

PV Music House states that its teachers are highly trained and actively working musicians and educators who provide conservatory-style instruction across band and orchestra instruments, voice, and guitar in all styles. The leadership and staff include Founder and Classical Guitarist Jon Minei, Senior Customer Service Representative Andrew Goo, Customer Service Associates Sam Korban and Gabi D. and Eliseo P., and in-house repair staff Jon Minei, Matthew Yamada, and Sam Korban.
