Junior Trees YDP offers a variety of activities focused on sports and play-based learning. The program emphasizes fun, enthusiastic coaching and age-appropriate skills, providing a pre-competitive youth development environment.

Founded in 1977, the program is led by Coach Ken, a veteran in coaching younger kids. The Palo Alto Soccer Club, which runs the program, aims to develop soccer skills and intelligence while fostering a resilient character in a team environment. Stanford Children’s Health sponsors the program, highlighting its community involvement.
